01.Client Intellectual Property & Source Code Security

At Vorpent Tech ("Vorpent", "we", "us", or "our"), our primary business is bespoke, production-grade software engineering for corporate clients, startups, and institutions. All source code, architectural specifications, database schemas, and proprietary algorithms created or modified for clients remain the exclusive property of the respective client upon contractual fulfillment.

We operate under strict bilateral Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). Client repositories are accessed solely on a need-to-know basis by assigned senior engineers and are isolated in encrypted development environments.

02.Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum necessary information required to scope, contract, and execute engineering services:

• Contact Information: Your name, work email address, company name, and communication preferences when you transmit a project brief or email us.
• Project Briefs & Specifications: Technical requirements, target stacks, milestone timelines, and repository links submitted for architectural scoping.
• Technical Logs & Performance Telemetry: Aggregated, privacy-friendly server logs (IP address, browser type, and HTTP request headers) solely for site availability, DDoS mitigation, and error diagnostics.

03.How We Use Your Information

We do not engage in behavioral advertising or surveillance capitalism. Your data is used exclusively to:

• Formulate precise technical scopes, feasibility analyses, and fixed milestone estimates.
• Execute engineering sprint deliveries, weekly staging walkthroughs, and repository handovers.
• Maintain operational security, defend against malicious network activity, and comply with legal requirements.

04.Third-Party Infrastructure & Service Providers

We utilize battle-tested, security-certified cloud infrastructure to host our website, deploy client staging applications, and manage version control:

• Hosting & Edge Delivery: Cloudflare and Vercel for encrypted CDN asset caching and DDoS defense.
• Version Control & CI/CD: GitHub for git repo collaboration, PR reviews, and automated staging pipelines.
• Communications: Secure enterprise email servers for direct correspondence with our engineering leads.

05.Data Retention & Right to Erasure

Project briefs that do not progress to an active engagement are purged within 90 days. For contracted engagements, code repositories are handed over completely, and staging environments are decommissioned upon sign-off.

You maintain the right under GDPR, CCPA, and relevant data protection laws to request the disclosure, amendment, or permanent deletion of any personal or commercial information we hold.

06.Security & Encryption Standards

All data transmitted to and from Vorpent Tech is encrypted using modern TLS 1.3 cryptographic suites. We enforce multi-factor authentication (MFA) across all internal developer accounts, maintain strict SSH key lifecycle policies, and conduct recurring dependency vulnerability audits.
